Lightweighting Workshop
On behalf of the BMK, the Lightweighting Platform A2LT cordially invites you to the Lightweighting Stakeholder Workshop BMK – FFG Eureka Lightweighting Call.
The BMK has initiated the first Eureka Lightweighting Call and focuses the funding on mobility applications. In addition to Austria, eight other partner countries Belgium, France, Canada, Luxembourg, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and South Korea are participating in the Call. BMK expects a strong call participation to contribute to the creation and strengthening of transnational value chains and thus to support common ecological goals with the call partners.
In the stakeholder workshop, you will also receive information on transnational BMK activities to promote lightweighting (European Lightweighting Network, national lightweighting study) for mobility applications.
Questions about call modalities and contents can be addressed directly to the FFG responsible persons. In the workshop you can introduce your R&D topics, present project ideas and network national competences.

International Webinar and Project Pitches for the Transnational Eureka Lightweighting Call.
Lightweighting is an economic heavyweight and key to climate protection. Lightweighting is also a strategic research and innovation topic.
In this webinar you will hear about the Lightweighting R&D strategy in the European and global context and about activities in Eureka to promote lightweighting. Learn about the timeline and challenges framing the Eureka Lightweighting call. The submission process will be illustrated and the funding agencies of Austria, Belgium, France, Canada, Luxembourg, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and South Korea will present their national focus and procedures. Information on how to submit your Lightweighting project pitch idea will follow soon.
